Who is behind Vercore Paints
Vercore Paints is owned and run by two people from opposite ends of the trade. Steve Massey owns Anglia Decor, the Essex-based multi-trade industrial contractor whose crews have spent years applying coatings to factory floors, roofs and cladding for clients like FedEx, P&G and Whitbread. Tom Riley is a marketer and SEO specialist who has spent his career making trade brands findable and trusted online.
That pairing is the point. Most paint brands are formulated in a lab and marketed from an office. Vercore's products are specified by people who have stood on wet floors at 6am wondering why a competitor's coating has not cured, and sold by someone who understands exactly what contractors search for when a floor lets them down.

Because it is built backwards from the job site. A contractor buying floor paint cares about three things: will it bond to the slab in front of them, how long until the client can trade again, and will it still look right at the twelve-month snag. Those are application questions, and application is the half of the coatings business that Anglia Decor's ownership brings in-house. When the people specifying the product are the people who have applied thousands of square metres of it, the product answers the questions that matter.
